Symptoms

Provider cannot register new web server in Shared Hosting NG webcluster, the task Registering webserver fails with the error message 'CloudLinux H2E repository is not enabled'.

Cause

  1. The wrong license is installed on CloudLinux server which Provider is going to add to the Shared Hosting NG cluster, it does not have H2E feature enabled.

  2. CloudLinux activation key is not switched for use by OSA Shared Hosting NG module..

Resolution

  1. Request and install CloudLinux license with H2E feature enabled.

  2. Follow instructions on CloudLinux website to activate correct license

  3. [Only required for CloudLinux 5.x] Switch CloudLinux activation key for use by OSA Shared Hosting NG module using the following commands on a web server:

    # yum update rhn-setup --enablerepo=cloudlinux-updates-testing
    # /usr/sbin/clchannel --switch=ng
