I have Parallels Desktop 7 for Mac and want to install Mac OS X Lion into a virtual environment. How can I do this?


There are  2 ways to install Lion as a guest, both of which are permitted under the SLA.  

Depending on what kind of Lion license you have, you can either:
  1. Install it from the Parallels Wizard using the “Install OS X Lion using the Recovery Partition”
  2. Install it from a USB drive using the Parallels Wizard and selecting “Install from a DVD or image file”, then selecting “Choose an image file” then selecting the USB drive that has Lion on it.
