Precondition

New BA Store is installed on Linux node.

Move IP address and hostname

  1. Shutdown the source Windows BA Store.

  2. Change the IP addresses in the destination BA Store environment:

    • In the /usr/local/bm/templatestore/conf/params.inc file, set the original (source) BA application BackNet IP for "$SERVER_HOST".
  3. Change interface IP address to original Windows BA Store BackNet IP.
  4. Change hostname to the original Windows BA Store hostname.
  5. Restart the system.
  6. Synchronize all stores.

Registration of BA Store in OA

Remove file /usr/local/bm/add_role_upgrade from Linux BA Store node.

Use the instructions to register Linux BA Store node in OA after the migration.
