Order Queues

Order queue is a user-defined group of orders of certain types and statuses, it provides a convenient way for pipe-line analysis or for monitoring important stages of order flow. E.g. Provider may easily get the list of all orders which failed to be provisioned (have status Provisioning Failed).

Create order queues in PBA Provider Control Panel at Configuration Director > Order Processing > Order Queues:

  • Click the Add New Order Queue button
  • On the next screen provide description of the queue and select role which will allow to get access to the queue details
  • Click Save
  • Click on just created queue
  • Switch to the Queue Details tab
  • Add as many details to the queue as needed, each queue detail is defined by unique combination of order type and order status After the order queue is created it will appear under Operation Director > Sales Manager > Order Queues where Provider may see the list of actual orders in the queue.

Provisioning Queues

Provisioning queue is a pre-filtered list of provisioning items intended to assist support engineers in monitoring and troubleshooting order provisioning. Provisioning queues are similar to order queues, the difference is that provisioning queue contains not orders but provisioning items, thus single order may appear in provisioning queue many times.

Create order queues in PBA Provider Control Panel at Configuration Director > Order Processing > Provisioning Queues:

  • Click the Add New Provisioning Queue button
  • On the next screen provide description of the queue and select role which will allow to get access to the queue details
  • Click Save
  • Click on just created queue
  • Switch to the Queue Details tab
  • Add as many details to the queue as needed, each queue detail is defined by combination of provisioning item properties

Note: Queue details are joined with logical operator OR.

After the provisioning queue is created it will appear under Operation Director > Provisioning Manager > Provisioning Queues where Provider may see the list of actual provisioning items which satisfy queue condifions, e.g. Provider may easily see all provisioning items which require attention (have status Failed).
