Wireless Services (Blackberry/Good Mobile Accounts and Devices)

Use OA Provider Control Panel to manage wireless services:

  • Top > Services > E-mail > Blackberry > Accounts
  • Top > Services > E-mail > Good Mobile Messaging > Accounts

Important things to note include the following:

  • Account status – the actual state of a mailbox in the system - Ready, Creating, Updating, Deleting, Failed
  • Device status - configuration status of the BlackBerry/GoodMobile device:
    • Not available - device status is unknown
    • Initializing - remote registration of the device is initialized
    • No PIN - device was not activated due to some error
    • Wiping - cleaning all user data (in case the device was lost)
    • Wiped - device is cleaned up
    • Activated - device is active and connected to the BlackBerry™ Server. In that case, the PIN will be displayed opposite this field
    • Unknown - device is not registered in POA
