Resolution
The following case is considered here:
Parallels Virtuozzo for Linux Containers 4.0 fail-over cluster which holds the PA infrastructure.
The upgrade procedure from Virtuozzo 4.0 to Virtuozzo 4.6 should take the following steps:
- Updating from PIM 4.0 to PVA 4.6 is described in this article (RHEL/CentOS 5.x) or in this article (RHEL/CentOS 4.x).
- Updating from PVCfL 4.0 to PVCfL 4.6 is described in this document.
- For spare nodes upgrade, please use the following procedure.
The upgrade procedure from 4.6 to 4.7 is described here.
After finishing the upgrade procedure, please also make sure if the corresponding files in the directory /vz/pkgenv/ are in place on the hardware server in cluster. Otherwise, please install them additionally from their corresponding packages which can be found in the Virtuozzo distro, e.g.:
