Find the DSN owner (HD for Windows)

VDS owners can create DSNs using the many database ValueApps. But, how do you know which VDS a specific DSN belong to?

To solve that mystery, HostingDirector automatically adds a prefix to each DSN. Users select the
DSN name, and HD adds a string in the beginning of that DSN to identify it with the VDS. This prefix string is the
domain name or the VDS name. You can configure that prefix in the server control panel. To do so:

1.Login to the server control panel
2.Click the server name, and choose the general tab
3.The entry VDS Unique Id has your current unique id configuration
4.To change it, click the Edit button, select the desired id mechanism and click ok.
