Sales Order from Mozy APS2 provisioning fails with the following output:

"Error de creación del servicio: Parallels Operations Automation error #error_code #0, extype_id #1, module_id #Common, Internal error: APSC: Internal Server Error: Error while creating partner 1232577--PG::StringDataRightTruncation: ERROR: value too long for type character varying(64)

Same error can be seen in core.log on the Management Node and endpoint logs on a system attempt to INSERT new user in Mozy database.


The error message comes from Mozy side since there is a restriction for user name length of 64 characters and the user being created has a longer name. There is no such restriction on Operations or Billing side of Odin Automation as well as on APS Application side. So in order to avoid such situations, internal request #R425-2594 has been submitted to reduce number of characters in user name to 64 on Sales Order placement.


Contact your Technical Account Manager to track the status of the internal request.

To work around it, simply reduce the name of the created user to 64 characters in Odin Automation.
