Symptoms

Azure CSP task fails with the following error message:

 Body: {
 "error": "unknown",
 "message": "An unexpected error has occurred.",
 "category": "unknown",
 "context": null,
 "http_request": "POST /aps/tenants to 'xx.xx.xxx.xx'"
 }

The following output can be found in the application-log on the Azure CSP endpoint server:

 {
"error": "APS::Util::Exception",
"message": "Property `account.aps.id` is not found."
 }

 [ERROR] System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. StackTrace: at Odin.AzureCSP.Crest.Api.GetTenantDomain(String tenantName)

Cause

The error is caused by software-related issue #APSA-18033. The account has more than 1 Office 365 subscriptions. As a result, some of the Office 365 Tenants (non-master) have no "subdomain" and "default_admin_login" fields.

Newly created Azure CSP aps tenant tries to receive required properties "subdomain" and "default_admin_login" from the Slave tenant. As a result, task "Provisioning Tenant" fails, because there are no such properties on the Slave tenant resource.

Resolution

The issue is fixed in Azure CSP 4.0. The hotfix for 3.2.5 is also available.

To workaround the issue, please contact Odin Technical Support for assistance.
