Symptoms

Provider has modified OrderFlow so that some notification should be sent as the result of some order transition.

For example, notification about successfully order completion is set in the Order Transition C5 - CP. In the "Success Template" a name of the corresponding Notification Template is specified.

However no notification is sent out.

Cause

Event "Order notification Asked" misconfiguration.

Resolution

To troubleshoot the issue two points should be checked:

1) Open System - Settings - Events - "Order notification Asked" Switch to "Event Handlers" tab. Make sure that there is local handler Type Message:

Handler Handler Type Event Type Max attempts MESSAGE :: OrderNotification Local Handler Order Notification Asked 1

2) If the handler is present, verify number of attempts (Max attempts) value. It should be more than 0 (1 default)
