Symptoms

Unprovisioning of VEs on Cloud Infrastructure 17.13 does not work. Task Unprovisioning "PACIVPSHostingVPS" for APS application Cloud Infrastructure fails with the following output:

APS Application Error:
406 Not Acceptable
[ApplicationUnknownError] Unprovisioning: resource 163b21e1-9ea7-4051-b080-057921325229 of type 'vps' (http://www.parallels.com/paci/vps-hosting/vps/1.2) for APS application 'Cloud Infrastructure-17.13-36': [IM] P90050: There are still 1 VE(s) for this subscription.

Body: {
"source": "IM",
"message": "[IM] P90050: There are still 1 VE(s) for this subscription",
"notificationSent": false,
"error": "ApplicationUnknownError",
"http_request": "DELETE /vps/api/vps/163b21e1-9ea7-4051-b080-057921325229"
}

However subscriptions are removed on Billing and Odin Automation side, but VEs are still presented in Services > Cloud Infrastructure > Virtual Servers

Cause

Upgrade from 17.12 to 17.13 was not performed completely. Instructions: "Important: After the Cloud Infrastructure Automation 17.13 package installation, you should restart pau and pa-agent services on the management node."

Resolution

  1. Restart pau and pa-agent services
  2. Remove remaining VEs from Services > Cloud Infrastructure > Virtual Servers
  3. Cancel failed task tree
