  • Applies to:
  • Operations Automation
  • Business Automation 7.3

  • Customer has VPS Hosting subscription (resource model VPS Hosting)
  • Corresponding service plan in BA allows to purchase additional resource of type "Diskspace" (OA resource class Application Counter (KB), application resource Diskspace)
  • Usage of the resource in OA is equal to the limit in the subscription
  • On attampt to downgrade additional resource BA returns error Order cannot be placed. The usage of resource exceeds the specified new limit

The issue can happen with subscriptions created in OA older than 7.3 where usage was set equal to limit in OA for HDD (and similar application counters).

In result of design change in OA 7.3 usage for resource HDD is always set to zero.

Note: Zero usage does not affect billing because resource model VPS-hosting' (flat fee) does not imply usage accumulation.
