Cancellation orders for subscriptions related to an APS app fail with the message like below:

The last error - "Removal of Service of Subscription #100123 is failed. Stopping service of Order Item #100123 failed: Stopping service for Subscription #100123 failed: Parallels Operations Automation error #error_code #0, extype_id #51, module_id #SaaS, Invalid response from the APS subsystem: syntax error. 

in core.log the following error is registered:

Feb  3 11:45:21.772 : DBG [openapi:1229 1:32563:7f2c79ffb700 lib 2052111991]: [ SaaS::callAPSCApi] {module_id="SaaS"; code="51"} Invalid response from the APS subsystem: syntax error


The issue affects APS applications implementing the type. When such services are being disabled (suspended), the endpoint responds with a newline character (or any other character) while empty response with context-lenght equal to 0 is expected. A software-related issue #APS-44142 has been submitted to handle such situations on the platform level.


Please contact the APS application packager in order to change the application behavior. It is recommeded to send an empty response to the following PUT requests:

  • PUT /.../disable
  • PUT /.../enable
